Meat supplier Block House is a common name in Germany, for both consumers and hotel and catering companies. The success story of Block House began in 1968 when Eugen Block opened his first steakhouse. In order to offer his guests excellent meat of a consistent quality, in 1973 he decided to open his own butcher’s in Hamburg. There are now 46 steakhouses, 38 of which are located in Germany, and Block House also supplies to other hotel and catering companies and large supermarket chains in Germany.

When the meat arrives at the central butcher’s in Germany after an optimum maturing process, the same strict selections are applied to the cuts to be selected and portioned.
