Quality system according to IFS Broker

As Foodproducts, we have been working according to the HACCP guidelines since 2009. In 2013 we had the HACCP system assessed and certified for the first time. In 2016 we had this certification converted to IFS Broker. This means that we have been IFS Broker certified for a total of 4 years, of which the last 3 years always at higher level.

However, there are currently a lot of changes in the requirements placed on us in terms of requesting, archiving, monitoring and obtaining data from our suppliers. This mainly concerns aspects that are not directly in line with trading in quality products. As a result, these are very costly business processes that have no direct added value for the products we trade.

In addition, our suppliers are certified and therefore also work in accordance with their usual certification.

We have therefore decided not to recertify our IFS Broker. This means that we will continue to use the system, but no longer in a certified form. Of course, we will have the system tested annually by an external quality agency through an internal audit. On request, you can receive a copy of this audit.
